OK, so I hate to detract from our fabulous silent auction items, but I already missed one week of posting. (Be sure to attend our Boogie to Beat Breast Cancer tomorrow night! We hope to see lots of people there!)
Week 7 Routine: Brisk 5-minute warm-up walk; 25 minutes running; 5-minute cool-down walk
Angie's Week 7 Schedule: I started the "week 7" routine on Monday, April 13. Unfortunately, that was my only "week 7" routine. Work and life craziness got in the way. I considered repeating the week, but I decided that if I could run for 25 minutes, I could run for 28. So I plowed ahead!
Week 8 Routine: Brisk 5-minute warm-up walk; 28 minutes running; 5-minute cool-down walk
Angie's Week 8 Schedule: I started the "week 8" routine on Friday, April 17. I completed it that Friday and the following Monday and Wednesday.
Angie's Notes: Because I'm a perfectionist, it's hard for me to admit that week 7 was a bust. However, I had still made enough progress to move on to week 8. And next week I'll be a "Couch to 5K" graduate! During this last week of the program, I plan to do my workouts around the lake so that I can track of my distance. Twice around is a 5K. We'll see if I can make it in 30 minutes. If not, I guess I'll just have to run longer than 30 minutes...
