Volley to Beat Breast Cancer 2009

The Volley to Beat Breast Cancer was held on Saturday, March 21st. We had a whopping 20 teams this year and raised over $1500! We had so many teams we had to use the high school, elem. school and the CCC. Next year, with the new addition on the high school, we're hoping it will all be able to stay in one building. Brewster's was our wonderful sponsor this year and provided prizes to each participating team and extras to the three winning teams. They also helped with rental fees. We would like to thank them once more for that! We are hoping to host a beach volley ball tourney this summer also! We'll keep you posted on that.

The winners of Bracket A were the "Waldos in Pink".

Bracket B was "Bosom Buddies".

The costume contest went to "Rock, Pebbles, Stones".
