Meet the Team - Robby

What is your "real life" job?
I am self-employed with my two brothers and have two types of businesses. Through Lindell Sales and Service, I sell feeding, manure handling, and haying equipment for dairy, hog, and beef farms. Through Cabinets by Lindell, I design and sell kitchens, vanities, entertainment centers, offices, fireplace surrounds, bars, countertops, etc., for customers and contractors in the surrounding area. Our showroom is located next to the Mall in Cannon Falls.

Why did you decide to participate in the Breast Cancer 3-Day?
This will be my second year walking. I had such an awesome experience last year I decided walk it again. This is one way I can help find a cure for breast cancer.

Do you have a personal connection to breast cancer?
My wife Michelle was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2006. The cancer was detected early, and I am happy to say that she is a breast cancer survivor!

What are you most looking forward to in participating?
I am looking forward to walking with wife Michelle, and all of our kids, Heidi, Angie, and Scott. Walking as a family with Michelle’s sister Kris, our friends LuAnn, Kristy, Amy, Kimberly, Julie, and Holly will great!

What will be your biggest challenge in participating?
Raising enough money this year in these tougher economic times will probably be our toughest challenge. We need to raise $27,600 for our team to walk.

What do you hope to gain from this experience?
That we are getting one step closer in finding a cure beat Breast Cancer. So my children and grandchildren don’t have to hear the words, you have cancer!
