Garage Sale Fun

Saturday April 26th out team held a fundraising garage sale at Kris's house. We had so many great things for sale that the garage was overflowing.


The weather was not ideal though, it was about 35 degrees with gusty winds and occasional snow. The sun did peek through occasionally. Luckily we had so many workers that we were able to split shifts, so everyone got to warm up in the house. But the winter blast did not keep the crowds away, and the team raised over $700.

In the afternoon once the shoppers had dwindled, everyone got a little silly. "80's Dress Up" was one of the highlights of the day. A few girls got in on the act, but Angie had the best outfit hands down. It is tough to see it in this picture, but the girls even "80's" their hair. Too funny.
Although the sale went well, we still have so much great stuff that we have decided to hold it again.
